Introduction to Creative Writing: Exploring Your Voice and Style
In this course, you will learn the fundamentals of creative writing, including the elements of storytelling, character development, plot, setting, and dialogue. Through a combination of readings, writing exercises, and peer workshops, you will explore your own unique writing voice and style.
You will engage in various writing exercises designed to help you generate new ideas and explore different genres and forms. You will also receive feedback from peers and the instructor on your writing, which will help you refine your skills and develop your own unique voice.
Throughout the course, you will read and analyze works of published authors, and gain insight into how they craft their stories and use language to create compelling and meaningful work.
