Week 1: Introduction to Yoga

- Basic yoga poses and sequences for building strength, flexibility, and balance
- Guided relaxation and meditation for stress relief and relaxation
Week 2: Breathing Techniques
- The role of breath in yoga practice and its impact on the nervous system
- Introduction to pranayama (breathing) techniques for energizing, calming, and balancing the body and mind
- Guided meditation and relaxation exercises to deepen awareness of the breath and cultivate mindfulness
Week 3: Yoga for Strength and Flexibility
- Building strength and endurance through standing poses, lunges, and arm balances
- Developing flexibility and mobility through seated and reclined poses, forward folds, and twists
- Relaxation techniques to release tension and tightness in the muscles and joints
Week 4: Yoga for Relaxation and Stress Relief

Course Requirements:
No prior yoga experience is required for this course. All levels are welcome, and modifications and variations will be provided for different body types and abilities. Students should bring a yoga mat, water bottle, and comfortable clothing to each class.
