About this Course
Assessment and Evaluation in Advanced Education for National Development
This course is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of assessment and evaluation in the context of advanced education for national development. Students will explore the various purposes, types, and methods of assessment and evaluation, as well as their roles in promoting educational excellence, equity, and innovation. Emphasis will be placed on the use of assessment and evaluation as powerful tools for guiding, improving, and transforming educational practices and policies at the national level.

- Explain the concepts and principles of assessment and evaluation in the context of advanced education for national development.
- Analyze the different types, methods, and tools of assessment and evaluation, and their suitability for various educational contexts.
- Design and develop valid and reliable assessment and evaluation instruments that align with learning objectives and standards.
- Interpret and use assessment and evaluation data to inform instructional decision-making, curriculum development, and policy formulation.
- Evaluate the effectiveness and impact of assessment and evaluation practices on student learning, teacher performance, and overall educational outcomes.

Assessment and Grading
Students will be assessed based on their active participation in class discussions and activities, their written assignments, and their final project. The final grade will be determined based on the following:

- Final Project (40%)

Prerequisites
Students are expected to have a basic understanding of education and research methodology. Familiarity with statistical software is desirable but not mandatory.
